Thanx Wes, I do understand now. I wish Smarthome would update the smartlinc to have better error checking and minimize database corruption. Factory resetting the smartlinc and adding the devices back in are a real pain!!!!

I agree! With the new update submitted last week (2.17.00) this version will handle these conditions in a graceful way and notify the user what happened and exit cleanly out of the sync saving what it could save to the internal database.

Apple approved 2.17.00 yesterday that addresses those with SmartLinc's sending unknown data to MobiLinc during a sync operation.
