Hi,
Looks like a great product. Sadly, I have SmartLinc V1 with firmware 2.8. I called Smarthome today and was told there is no firmware upgrade available. I tried it (the trial) anyway and was able to turn a LampLinc on and off but not to dim it. But the app crashed a number of times. This was on an iPhone 4.

So, any chance of future version having V1 compatibility? I hate to spend another $130 for a new SmartLinc.

Hi Richard,

I haven't had any interest in supporting the older SmartLinc version of firmware. As I understand it, there are limitations to that firmware that would restrict the features offered in MobiLinc paired with the newer SmartLinc firmware.

As always, I listen to the user community. If I start to hear some interest in supporting the older V1 SmartLincs I'll consider developing what features I can for the older firmware.
