I/O Linc #2450

Postby smokegrub » Sat Aug 17, 2013 3:44 pm

After a day spent addressing device status reporting issues from my SmartLinc to MobiLinc Pro. I have resolved all but one, and it has me stumped. I use an I/O Linc to control (on/off) my irrigation system. The device currently reports off when the device is on and on when the device is off! I haven't a clue how to approach this. Hopefully you can help.

I am a new MobiLinc user and a novice dealing with Insteon issues.

Hi smokegrub,

The IO Linc will have two nodes. One for the relay and one for the status. Which one is reporting opposite status? I'm assuming you are using the the device and not a scene. If you are using a scene, then the status could be a unpredictable since I'm not sure which node reports status to the SmartLinc under the scene->status reporting INSTEON device setting.

I would recommend adding the IO Linc to MobiLinc as a device and use it that way.
