Are there plans in the works to make this thermostat controllable from MobiLinc Pro?

Hi smokegrub,
At one point the Venstar folks were working on an INSTEON compatible version of this thermostat. Since it's Wi-Fi only, we haven't been as focused on it since MobiLinc is tuned for INSTEON based thermostats. We could add support for it if there was enough demand from the community. However, to date, we haven't seen very much interest in this thermostat.

The new INSTEON thermostat works well. Their early versions had some growing pains, but since they've ironed out those bugs, it's turned into a well received thermostat:
