Hi FLSR,

1. We're making improvements to leaving the voice control on in the background, but what you suggest really isn't possible to do with the iOS 7. It might be possible to tie voice control to a geo-fence, but I can't make any commitments here due to the specificity of that feature. IE, quite a bit of work and not clear that everyone would see the benefit.

2. Currently Voice Control does not support setting specific dim levels: http://mobilinc.com/features/voice/

This is on our investigate list and do if it doesn't impact reliability.

It's not a perfect solution, but you can configure Mobilinc to enable voice control whenever the app is opened and then, when the phone is off, you can hold down the button and tell Siri "run mobilinc." If you have a PIN and don't have a fingerprint reader, you'll have to enter your PIN, but otherwise it's the quickest way I've found to get to voice control with a single button press.

If you haven't grabbed our .08 update, please do. You'll notice that we added in support for geo-fence and voice and well as direct dimming/bright, thermostat commands with voice as well as support for door locks with voice.
