Hi there, I am using DSCLINK with an ISY99ir to manage my DSC Alarm. Is there any support in Mobilic so that I can get the keypad to Arm/Disarm and look at zone information through mobilinc?

Hi ssingh1234,

If you are using the Network Resources function of the ISY to Arm/Disarm the keypad through DSCLINK you can create a program that calls the Network Resource in the "Then" statement.

In MobiLinc, find the program and remove all the commands expect for the "Then" path and set the Run Then path as your favorite. Now, when the icon is tapped, the program will execute the Then path arming or disarming your alarm panel.

On our road map is to support security panels using a custom GUI interface in MobiLinc. Our first panel to support will be the ELK followed by other popular security panels like the DSC.

Thanks Wes. What is your estimate release date for the Elk product? It'll give me a better idea on your DSC release.

thanks!

Hi ssingh1234,

No estimates as of yet. We're 100% focused on finishing up IP camera support. As soon as we can get this out (target is end of the month) we'll turn our attention to ELK support.

Thanks Wes, does that mean that you may be able to support Logitech Alert IP Cameras as well?

Possibly. We do have a Logitech profile currently in the beta release. I saw that you siged up for the beta. Once you get your iOS device registered with TestFlight give the beta a try and see if what we have will work. If not, do you know what the HTTP commands are to get at the JPG and MJPEG streams as well as Pan/Tilt controls?

If we can get our hands on these, then we can build in support for the Logitech Alert camera.

I'm not sure what the MJPEG paths are. I know people have been successful in using RTSP with these cameras. I'm not a 100% sure about the MJPEG. These devices use the Homeplug technology.

Update on the Logitech Alert cams. After doing some research on these they appear to only support video streams over RTSP. Our IP Camera plug-in currently supports JPEG and MJPEG streams. RTSP and H.264 are on our road map to support, but will not be in our initial release.

Hi rjbur,

We don't have DSC integrated into MobiLinc. What you could do is setup a couple of ISY programs to fire the network resources that cause the DSC to arm/disarm. Then in MobiLinc you can set these program as favorites.
