Energy Monitoring

I am using Mobilinc HD on my iPhone and iPad to monitor energy usage using an Insteon iMeter Solo. The iMeter solo is linked through my ISY99. Once the iMeter was linked to the ISY99 Mobilinc HD displayed a "My Energy" category. Selecting this category displays the power, current, voltage, and total kWh from the iMeter Solo. There is also a cost category for electricity cost per kWh. My question is how do one input a value for the cost?

Hi jareed101,

MobiLinc gets the cost info from the ISY-99i configured by the Admin Console under Configuration->Electricity->Main. Set the Base Cost in cents to your price per kWh and click Save.

Relaunch MobiLinc, and MobiLinc should pull in the price info and apply it to the rate of power consumption as measured by the iMeterSolo.

That's what I was afraid of. There is no Electricity tab under Configuration on my ISY99 Admin Console. I posted a question to the Universal Devices forum inquiring about this, and this was the reply:

Hello jareed101,

Electricity configuration tab is moved to 994 series and it's only use are for the following (none related to iMeter):
1. Smart Meter communications in case of 994iZS
2. Communications with Brultech meters
3. Open ADR which is only used for commercial sites

This has been a fairly recent change in the ISY-99x firmware. I'll add this to our feature request list to allow you to set the base price through the app.
