MobiLinc HD and Weather Module

Postby Baja » Thu Jul 28, 2016 2:41 pm

I'm currently using MobiLinc HD on a dedicated iPad 2 for my Home Automation. In order for me to get the current temperature, I have to touch the weather display information in the upper right corner and then hit the refresh button on the "My Weather" table that pops up. Is there a way to have the current weather information displayed automatically, without having to refresh it manually?

Hi Baja,

This should be auto-updating based on the ISY's refresh cycle to pull weather.

If you open the ISY's Admin Console and let it run showing the weather screen, does the Admin Console show updated weather information over time? If it does, please let me know what firmware version of the ISY you are running.

Wes,
This was working until I upgraded my ISY to firmware version 4.5.1.

Wes,
Yes, when I open the ISY's Admin Console and let it run showing the weather screen, the Admin Console updates every 5 minutes, showing the correct updated weather information.

Hi Baja,

Can you downgrade the ISY's firmware back to the previous version to confirm that current weather is being sent to MobiLinc? There shouldn't be any changes in weather in 4.x firmware. If there are I'll need to report this to UDI.

Wes,
I hate to go backwards on the firmware version for my ISY. I don't want to risk breaking something else. I think I'll just wait and hope it gets fixed in the next release.

Thanks for your help.
