Hi seankidd,

Try this to rule out any communication issues:

- Pick an X10 device you can unplug and move.
- Plug that device into the back of the SmartLinc.
- Verify you can control that device through the smartlinc.smarthome.com site.
- Go to MobiLinc->My Devices and tap the "+" in the upper right corner.
- Add in your X10 device including it's X10 address. Make sure you select X10 Dimmer or X10 Switch from the scroll wheel.
- Tap Save and then tap on the device under My Devices.
- Using the ON and OFF buttons, turn the X10 device on and off.

Does this work for you?

it works from web interface not mobilinc, i dont even get bright blue led flash on mobilinc command, only web interface command...however i do get green ip flashes upon mobilink synch. upon iphone reinstall, it detects smartlinc and asks for password etc.

I tried plugging in smartlinc and x10 device in same oulet...x10 remotes control x-10 fine as well, just not mobilinc, weird...it worked for a while, some time ago. furthermore occasionally i get a stuck bright blue led on the smartlink? i unplug for a whil and its ok.

Hi Seankidd,

Very strange. What this tell me is that MobiLinc does not have the right IP address/port or username and password under My Settings->Lighting Controller. If you see the SmartLinc Green LED blink and not the Blue LED, the SmartLinc saw traffic on your ethernet line, but that traffic was not destined for the SmartLinc. MobiLinc attempted to send the command to an IP address destination that was not recognized by the SmartLinc.

Can you confirm that the IP address and port information including the username and password are correct in MobiLinc for your SmartLinc? The Username and Password is the same ones you use when logging into the SmartLinc device when you click "I'm at Home" from the SmartLinc website.
