I downloaded SDM per the link found on iTunes. Installed it fine. It shows up down bottom right of my task bar (running Windows Vista 64 bit ultimate w/latest updates).

Any way, when I right mouse click on the little "T" icon (SDM) and pick "About SDM..." I get NOTHING. When I right mouse click and pick "Exit SDM" then all of a sudden (for a split second) I see a window or dialog box pop up and go away?

I was trying to configure username and password per instructions in order to use iLinc but since I can't get any response from SDM how do I do this?

Forgive the basic question, but do you have the Powerlinc 2414 hooked up to your PC? From the description, it sounds like the sdm software isn't able to talk to your powerlinc device.
