IOLinc (output relay) works partially with iLinc Pro.

IOLinc has one input and one low voltage relay output.
You can set up the relay to pulse for 2-25 seconds when it receives an on command.
An off command does nothing.
You can tie the relay out contact in parallel with your garage door opener to pulse
the garage door open or close. I use a "snap action" micro switch wired to my garage door on the IOLinc input sensor
to link to an Insteon appliance relay so I can read the status with ilinc Pro.

WARNING: Trying to remotely control your garage is not wise for human safety concerns
and without the garage door safety "photo eyes" for object detection don't try it.

My use is for emergency local wifi control of my garage door (under supervision) in case I get locked out of the house.
You can use it remotely if someone calls you like the delivery man or your wife and they are standing there when you
give the open or close command.

What doesn't work.

Thanks for the post and your creative solution to opening and monitoring your garage door with iLinc. It's always interesting to hear how people are using Insteon in different ways to solve their everyday problems.

Maybe this will give others some ideas!
