Hi Wes,

I have installed the Mobilinc widget on my Android phone and although it works, it has a bug. The On and Off controls work fine, however, the Dim and Brighten controls do not work. Is this specific to my HTC Sensation 4G phone or is this a known Mobilinc Pro Android bug?

Hi Jack,

We don't know of any issues with the Dim/Bright controls with the Widget. The Dim/Bright controls work a little different than ON/OFF.

Dim/Bright will increase or decrease the ON Level by 3% at a time. Also, the screen won't dismiss the list of options automatically so that you can press dim or bright several times in a row before choosing to dismiss the screen.

Is this consistent with what you are observing?

Oops, you are absolutely right. I was just expecting a faster increase/decrease rate. Thanks for the clarification.

Hi Jack,

No problem. The reason for the low percentage jump, is we can only issue the native dim and bright commands to the device or scene through the widget controls. Native commands are set to 3% in the INSTEON controllers.
