Icons Do Not Always Respond When Clicked

Postby Wingman1487 » Mon Jan 21, 2013 7:51 pm

I'm using the HTC Droid DNA and when I go into the application > My Devices and I click on the icons I have to click them several times before they respond. Anyone else see this?

Hi Wingman1487,

Are you using the SmartLinc or the ISY-99x INSTEON controller?

Can you compare the performance of turning devices on and off against the Admin Console when you turn devices on and off through that Java interface?

When we've seen this, the ISY is usually attempting to send the ON or OFF commands, but it's taking several seconds to do so. Could indicate that there's communication issues in the INSTEON network due to noise or in worse cases, indicate that there's a problem with the PLM.

I compared with both the console a Samsung SIII and both respond instantaneous with no issue.

I can't say we've seen Android device specific behavior such as this. It would be good to hear from others if this is a common problem on just the HTC DNA.
