IP address changed by ISP

My ISP changes my IP address occasionally.
I am able to go to smartlinc.smarthome.com and it sees the new external IP address, but in Mobilinc Pro, it still has my old external IP address. Must I manually change the external IP address in the Lighting Controller Settings every time my ISP changes my IP address, or is there some way the Mobilinc app could get the new address from smartlinc.smarthome.com?

Hi stevenr5960,

Our recommendation would be to use a dynamic DNS service like no-ip.org and use that instead of your external IP address in MobiLinc. That should help reduce or eliminate service issues from your ISP changing your external IP address.
