I am currently using Conductor on both a Motorola Droid X and a Samsung Galaxy Tab. On both, I use it for both in-home WiFi and outside via the Internet and DynDNS. After installing the app, I was able to get connect the Droid X to my ISY99 via the Internet and successfully controll devices.
Subsequently turning on and connecting to it WiFi caused the appto lose control and monitoring capability – even if I switched the setting “Connection method” to “Plain text”. Turning off WiFi didn’t help.
So I turned off the WiFi still on the Droid X, I powered it off and turned it back on again. With a fresh reboot and operating on the Internet, I could not connect to the ISY on that device – all devices showed, but they reflected a status of “-“
I went into the settings and set the phone down for about five minutes to do something else. I then switched the “Connection method” to “Secure” and went back to All Devices, and noted that they must have updated their status, but I still could not control any of them. Twenty minutes later, I still cound not control any of them.
Note that using Conductor, I still had control, so that ruled out the possible HTTPS settings, IP address, or general communication issue. Also, I was still able to control devices using this app via WiFi on the Galaxy Tab.
Finally, I turned the Droid's WiFi back on and power cycled the phone. Everything worked OK on the WiFi. Apparently there are some issues with the Internet connection recognition, use, and switching from WiFi.
