That's pretty much it, all my accentuated characters (mosty "é"s) show up as a "?" in a box.

Hi Mike,

This is a known issue with the ISY and how it encodes and transmits character strings outside of the UTF-8 (standard ASCII) standard to third party clients. A workaround is to change these letters to standard ASCII characters. é to e.

As I understand it, Universal Devices is looking into the issue.

I just tried mobilinc on my iDevice and the accentuated characters works just fine.

I understand that this could be the ISY but it's still strange that it works on apple devices and not on my nexus.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the test on your iOS device. We are looking into the Android parser code to verify it is doing similar parsing operations as the Apple parser as well as working with UDI to determine the best path forward for characters outside of UTF-8 standard.
