FanLinc Update (for ISY fw 3.2.6)

Postby Kid_Icarus » Mon May 14, 2012 7:53 pm

The official 3.2.6 firmware for the ISY-99i was released on May 10th. It includes full support for FanLinc.

Request: Now that the ISY can interact fully with FanLinc, are there plans to update the Mobilinc software to allow users to control the fan motor speed from Mobilinc?

PS: the Mobilinc Android software is fantastic!

I just checked Android market for updates and saw that a new version of MobiLinc was out that included fan support. I downloaded the update and fan control works perfectly. Thanks Wes!

As mentioned above, the controls for FanLinc within the MobiLinc application now handle FanLinc perfectly, with dedicated buttons for off, low, medium, high (screenshot below).

That said, I just loaded a widget for FanLinc and noticed that the options are the standard 8 options: brighten, on, off, dim, fast on, fast off (screenshot below). There is no option to change the command names or function under device/advanced options.

Request: Is it possible to change the widget for FanLinc to enable commands for off, low, medium, and high?
