When I enter "device sync error" as search terms, the forum software replies:

"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: device error sync. You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards."

I should think these terms should make a valid search. Perhaps the forum search admin settings need to be tweaked a bit.

Thanks for the heads up. I've changed the search settings for the board. Try searching again as the board should now respond to your search query.
