First, I want to congratulate you on a very handy and well-done app. I've been a user of ML Pro for Android for several months now and I'm very satisfied. Keep up the good work!

Does Mobilinc support the 2441ZTH wireless thermostat? Does it support it through Smartlinc and/or as an added device?

The above is the gist of my question. Below is the detailed version.

Thanks!

I recently added a wireless thermostat (2441ZTH) device to my home, having already had a main thermostat (Venstar 2491T1E). My controller, a Smartlinc, 2412N, Build 3.1 Sep 16 2010, recognizes the main thermostat and is able to deal with it no problem. The wireless one it can't (or I just don't know how).

So I added the wireless thermostat to Mobilinc through the "Add Device" facility. However, this only partially works: I am able to control the device (Off, Auto, Cool, Heat, Programmed Heat for 1-day program), but Mobilinc doesn't get any updates to the temperature or humidity (it shows 0 for temp, nothing or 0 for humidity).

I also use Houselinc and it is able to control the wireless thermostat as well as get updates from it. So, I'm pretty sure it's not the device, line noise, etc.

How can I get Mobilinc to get the updates? Is that supported?

Hello,

Support for the wireless thermostat in MobiLinc is limited to the ISY controller. MobiLinc supports the Venstar thermostat in the SmartLinc and ISY, but not the newer wireless thermostat with the SmartLinc.

Thanks for the response. I appreciate it.

Are there plans to include support for this device through Smartlinc?

We've got it on our to-do list, but no time frame for support yet.

Great! I'll be looking forward to that.

On an off-topic question, what do the "E" and "L" in the turning/rotating status light mean?

E indicates that MobiLinc is connecting Externally. (External IP)
L indicates that MobiLinc is connecting Locally. (Local IP)
