Hi Jim,
There are a number of reason why this may occur due to the complexity of getting everything in alignment. Here are the things you should look for:
- First verify that everything works when you are on WiFi.
- On your iPhone disable WiFi to force 3G connection.
- On a computer, go to
http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and enter the IP address you see here in MobiLinc's IP address field.
- On a computer go into your router's setting and verify that the router is forwarding port 9020 or whatever port you have SDM running on to the internal computer's IP address.
- While in the router settings, verify that the IP address given by the website matches the IP address the router has for its external IP address.
- Once your router is verified and configured to port forward 9020 to SDM and the IPs match, use MobiLinc to control your devices.
