I have been using the mobilinc app for the smartlinc controller on a HTC thunderbolt and overall it works great on both WiFi and mobile network. One thing that is missing is the ability to link IP cameras. If that option could be added then that would make this app more useful.

Hi Tyson,

IP Camera support is something we are planning on supporting as a plug-in or upgrade to the MobiLinc line of apps. This feature is in progress and will be coming to the MobiLinc platform.

Hiya
Install was easy enough. Working from wifi on android, there seems to be a slight lag compared to iOS. But so far, it passes the WAF

A few other comments,

The buttons probably don't need to be the whole width of the screen and would be more functional if it was set up more like the smartlinc web interface with off, on, dim, and brighten all in line.

Also, having the option to setup/modify timers from the mobilinc app would be nice.

Hi Pev,

For the lag observation, would you mind sharing the scenario you tested so that we can reproduce your observations?

Hi Tyson,

Try interacting with the ICONS on the page where all your devices and scenes are listed. If you tap the icon while ON the MobiLinc will tell the device to turn OFF and visa versa. If you double tap you'll send the Fast ON/OFF commands. If you press and hold you can brighten or dim devices and scenes. You shouldn't have to go to the details page of the devices and scenes for everyday device/scene control.

Setup and Modification of timers is something that may come in a future release.

Thanks for the feedback,
Wes
