Amcrest IP3M-941B Remote Access Setup not working

Postby GQuack » Wed Apr 17, 2019 5:44 pm

Hi all, has anyone been able to get an Amcrest Wifi IP camera remote access set up correctly? I have 8 Hikvision cameras all working just great, but this Amcrest is a different animal. With the Hikvision cameras, I only had to set up a single port forwarding rule for the HTTPS port as the MobiLinc "away" port. The Amcrest requires 3 separate port forwarding rules, 1 for HTTP, 1 for TCP, and 1 for UDP but I can't seem to find the correct combination and mappings between the Amcrest configuration and the Mobilinc app. I also use Blue Iris and that program works just great for both local and remote access but the server is not always running. When it is not running, I need Mobilinc Cam Viewer as Plan B.
Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

Hi GQuack,

Would you email our support email at support@mobilinc.com with the following?

MobiLinc:
- Screenshot of your camera’s settings page. You can take a screenshot of iOS devices by pressing the top power button and the bottom home button at the same time.

IP Camera Tool:
- Screenshot of your IP Camera discovery tool running on your PC or MAC showing your discovered IP Camera.
OR
- A screenshot of your IP Camera in a web browser showing the camera’s address when you are connected from a PC/MAC.

The results of going to https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=what+is+my+ip
Or your external DNS address.

Finally, please provide a screenshot of your router’s port forward page showing the routing to your camera.
