Do you support the Q-See QT 5680 DVR
I can view my cams from the QT iPhone app and even view them remotely from work.
I am running the latest firmware on the DVR but can't seem to make a connection.
the DVR is about 3 years old, does it have to use RTSP to make the connection.

Hi meangene,

For MobiLinc support, the DVR or camera needs to support a JPEG, MJPEG, or RTSP connection. Check the settings of the DVR through it's native web interface and see if you can find an RTSP setting. What we'd need in order to support the DVR is the full RTSP path to each camera managed by the DVR. This looks something like:

rtsp://ip-address/channels/1

Most of the Q-See products use a "Multimedia" port which isn't supported by MobiLinc.

Any chance of a future upgrade that will support Multimedia?

Hi meangene,

Unlikely. The problem with "Multimedia" is that it's vendor specific and not any one standard like RTSP.
