Does the MobiLinc plugin save any debug info? Once in a while the task executes but my scene does not trigger. Of course when this happens I don't have Tasker saving a log file.

I'm sorry, but no, the plug-in in Tasker or MobiLinc app doesn't save a log file. You can check your ISY's log file to see if the command made it to the ISY if you know approx the day/time the task fired.
