Sorry if this is a stupid question but I have googled it and can't come up with an answer. I am interested in the new Advanced locations plugin, but I don't know what a "direct IP connection" is. I use ISY and have a DYN service to maintain my external IP address. Does that qualify or do I need something else like Mobilinc? Thanks

Thank you for contacting us. Your Dyn service is a direct IP connection. All the Dyn service is doing is giving you a friendly name that maps down to your external IP address (direct IP). The only other option you have to connect to your ISY is our MobiLinc Connect cloud service which eliminates the need for port forwarding or any other network setup. It just works.
