3G vs Wifi Performance and Stability

I've been using iLinc alot to control my lighting - it's quick and convenient, better than ISY's web interface!

Lately, I've noticed that I get communication errors when some devices (Switchlinc Relay and Dimmers) are toggled with a 3G connection. This hasn't occurred with a Wifi connection. When this occurs, the communications errors persist, even after the application is restarted. Connecting to the ISY's web interface seems to clear up the issue, allowing iLinc to toggle the same devices okay after the web connection is made and dropped.

Any ideas on the cause, and how to avoid this? Is it possible to obtain more diagnostic information about the error generated in iLinc?
