Hi Bmbuell,

MobiLinc does not currently support the HUB. We are considering support for this device, but do not have a timeline yet for commitment or release.

Hi, has there been any update on this? Obviously the smartlinc devices have been discontinued so I am keen to get my Hub setup working with Mobilinc.

Many thanks

Hi rahulus,

I don't have any further update on the HUB. We are busy working to get our iOS 7 update to MobiLinc out the door and into the community along with several new features we are excited about.

If you are in the market for a SmartLinc replacement, I HIGHLY recommend the ISY controller as it works great with MobiLinc and our MobiLinc Connect cloud service: http://mobilincstore.com/system/isy-994i-plm-combo.html

NOOOOOOOOOO. My smarlinc died and they replaced it with an Insteon hub at no charge. I just found out that the hub does not work with mobilinc?? And you just added voice control???!?? Is there any timeline for possible support for the hub? It's a shame I spent $50 on a great product I can no longer use.. Thank you

Hi Brandon477,

I do not have a timeline for HUB support.

If you are considering a differnet controller, I HIGHLY recommend the ISY controller as it works great with MobiLinc and our MobiLinc Connect cloud service: http://mobilincstore.com/system/isy-994i-plm-combo.html

Hmmm.... so another 3 months has gone by. Any update on Insteon HUB support. Lots of 2412N's dying out there, including mine. And frankly, Insteon's new app can't hold a candle to Mobilinc. C'mon team - support the HUB !!

Please - update?

ISY doesn't work in countries with 50 Hz ( it does but no modem will do), so the Hub is the only choice. Mobilinc is loosing worldwide customers for not supporting the Hub.

Hi tlarrain,

Just to clarify, only the powerline feature of INSTEON with the PLM will not work on 50Hz, however, the dual-band RF segment will since this is independant of power frequency. Once the signal from the PLM goes RF, this will transmit to all other 915MHz RF INSTEON devices within range and repeat through the home on RF and 50Hz courtesy of the newer INSTEON 50/60Hz dual-band devices like the SwitchLinc.

You'd need to check with each RF capable device to see which frequency it's RF is transmitting on, but the new Dual-Band SwitchLinc products are 50/60 Hz compatible and transmit on the same RF frequency as the PLM (915MHz).
