GEO Fence and IOS 8

Ever since I upgraded to IOS 8 my Geo Fence isn't working My iPhone 5s is fine but my iPhone 4s is not recognize when you enter or leave the zone so the variable never changes. When I go into the app settings it appears that all are the settings are the same for both phones. I have sync'd it and deleted the old variable with a new one. Running out of options. The phone gives an error message saying notifications are not turned on, but they are. Suggestions?

Try deleting the region under Settings->Location Settings and recreate.
Once recreated, open the ISY's Admin Console and verify the variable is created.
In MobiLinc verify you have the Notify on Boundary option turned ON.
Leave the house and verify that iOS/MobiLinc sends a notification when leaving/arriving.

It's been a few weeks now and the 4S is still working intermittently and the 5S works every time. Any suggestions?

Hi Bjhanson3,
Unfortunately, no. If the boundary notification isn't firing on the 4S then that means iOS is NOT telling MobiLinc about the crossing. The root of the issue is buried in the iOS side of geofencing where we have zero visibility.

I figured as much, but thought I would ask just in case others were having this problem. It worked so flawlessly prior to IOS 8. That is true of quite a few things.
