Hi Steve,

In our testing, iBeacon is a bit less reliable than Geo-fencing. Geo-fencing in our testing is about 95% accurate. There are a number of factors that can influence your iPhone picking up your location. The iPhone does the detection work for geo-fence boundary crossing and the following tips will help the iPhone reliably detect the boundary crossing:

- When setting up the boundary, place the edge of the boundary where you drive in the middle of a neighboorhood or an area with dense Wi-Fi signals.
- Make sure your iPhone has a clear line of sight outside of your car. A phone buried in the trunk won't detect boundary crossings.
- Any app, like Apple Maps, that uses GPS, will significantly aid in geo-fence detection.
- An iPhone plugged into a car charger will be more responsive than one that isn't.
- Use MobiLinc Connect instead of a direct IP connection to simplify the connection process.
