I just tested on iOS 8 GM and get the same error when trying to activate voice command with an active bluetooth connection:

No background noise detected
Failed to calibrate mic input
levels. Please make sure there
is background noise during
startup.

It still works fine through the iPhone mic.

Thanks burke,

One last test. I see at the bottom of your post you have an old version of MobiLinc listed. Would you please upgrade to the latest from the app store, 4.00.21 and verify you still see the same issue?

Upgraded to 4.00.21 and behavior is the same. Activating voice command when connected to bluetooth in car (Parrot CK3100) or headset (Plantronics Marque 2 M165) always produces the error message (following the "Turning on microphone and configuring." message) and does not work. Voice command with the internal mic works just fine.

Thanks Burke. We'll get it looked at.
