Hi-

I just got iLinc and it appears very cool! Loving it so far.
I have a 2nd home that is Insteon and isy99 set-up. Can iLinc have he option of two configurations? (one for my main place and one for the 2nd home?)

Thx!
Dan

Hi dcpdad,

Thank you for your purchase!

Currently iLinc only supports one location at a time. One of the features I'm working on is to support multiple ISY profiles for folks like yourself who have multiple ISY setups.

Stay tuned, the update is coming soon!

Hi Dan,

You are welcome. Once I get to a place where I'd like to beta test the multiple ISY profiles can I contact you about beta testing this feature?

Now that I have an ISY setup both at home and in my ski condo, I can report that the multiple ISY profile feature works just fine. When the app comes up at a new location, it times out with a "failed to connect" error pop-up. A minor improvement would be if that pop-up had an option to go directly to the profile selection option. It would only save two key strokes, but would also save the effort of finding the "My Settings" tab.

Hi Bret,

Have you setup port forwarding to your ISYs? If you port forward both of your ISY devices AND add in your external IP address and port to the different iLinc profiles, you will be able to auto-connect to both ISYs no matter where you are or what profile you are using. This will also get rid of the failed to connect pop-up.

Another option is to set the "My Profiles" as the default startup page. When iLinc starts it will ask for which profile to use.

Setting up port forwarding would resolve this issue, but unfortunately I unable to get it working at the vacation home. It's an old Actiontec DSL modem/router that seems to be buggy in that area.

Thanks,
Bret

Awesome work Wes! I haven't been active on forum, but I have with the beta versions and just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate this app! Works great being able to control my main home as well as my condo - 2 very different configurations. I bet that it has paid for itself in power savings alone.
Thanks again for your efforts and if I can think of any suggestions (none come to mind!) I will be sure to let you know.
Dan
